These staggering figures are not just statistics; they represent lives cut short and families forever changed. Understanding these challenges and prioritizing solutions is essential for creating a healthier, brighter future.
Why Is Nigeria’s Childhood Mortality Rate So High?
Many Nigerian children suffer from chronic malnutrition, which weakens their immune systems and leaves them vulnerable to illnesses. Diseases such as malaria, pneumonia, diarrhea, and measles continue to claim lives due to inadequate vaccination coverage and limited access to healthcare.
